You have a boyish athletic shape. Shoulders are the same width as your hips with an undefined waist.

Style Solution:
Get curvy! Try to simulate an hourglass shape by using feminine shapes and detailing to your advantage.

What to Wear
• Jackets with a strong shoulder will give the illusion of a nipped in waistline. Enhance this even further with a tie belt and curved seams and flared hemline to draw the eye out rather than up or down your square shape.
• Rounded necklines to create softer angles on your body with embellishment, frills or ruffles to feminise your shape framing the upper half of your body.
• Draped jersey tops create fluidity, especially with an empire seam forming an hourglass shape.
• Empire tops and dresses with wrap or V-necklines
• Skirts with detail; curved panel seams, flared inserts, soft ruffles or pleats from the hip down.
• Wide leg soft draped pants. Jeans with a slight flare, flap pockets and pockets placed wider apart to create shape.
• Use belts to your advantage as they pull the eye inward. A thin contrasting belt defines your waist and is great for a shorter torso. You can get away with wider styles if your torso is long.
What to Avoid
• Boxy, cropped jackets
• Double breasted coats
• Stiff fabrics or bulky knitwear
• Shapeless or strapless tops or dresses
• Short or box pleated skirts
• High waisted bottoms or straight leg pants
• Heavy solid wedge shoes
